Preparing for Your First Chemical Peel

Chemical peels are an excellent way to improve skin texture, reduce hyperpigmentation, and stimulate collagen. If you've never had one, the process might seem mysterious.

Before Your Appointment

Discontinue the use of retinol and any exfoliating acids (like AHAs or BHAs) for at least 3-5 days prior to your peel. This ensures your skin's barrier is intact and prevents excessive irritation.

During the Peel

You may feel a mild tingling or warming sensation as the solution is applied. Our clinicians monitor your skin closely and use cooling techniques to keep you comfortable.

Aftercare

Expect some flaking or peeling starting around day 3. The most important rule: do not pick. Keep your skin hydrated and use a physical SPF every single day.
